Message From the Founder

Hello, my name is Jordyn Sanaa Grier-Parham. I am a singer, songwriter, poet, and entrepreneur. I am the founder of IKMW which stands for, I Know My Worth. I am a proud graduate of Passaic County Technical Institute High School in Wayne, NJ where I majored in Performing Arts: Vocal Technique. I then attended Temple University located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I was a Music Therapy Major.

Overcoming fear was one of the greatest obstacles throughout my life. I experienced bullying early on, throughout middle school. I dealt with feeling like I was never quite good enough or simply not fitting in, which affected me a great deal. With the help of my family, prayer, and faith in God I was able to push past my fear and create my own narrative for my life. I realized that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made", Psalm 139:14 and that "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me", Philippians 4:13.

 

IKMW is an organization that focuses on helping individuals by empowering and encouraging them to lead with compassion, be faith-driven, serve with a purpose, and never compromise one's integrity. My desire is to assist individuals to become the best versions of themselves, and to grow wherever they are planted, by helping them understand that they are loved, strong, powerful, beautiful, worthy, and most importantly, that they are enough.
